Sediment removal activities will occur over a 7-12 year period and approximately 1,165,000 cubic yards of sediment will be removed from a 9-acre area within the reservoir. Approximately 97,000 to 166,000 cubic yards of sediment will be removed annually. This amount will vary depending upon availability of equipment, rainfall, and other factors. Work will be conducted from early September until the end of February each work season or until the reservoir is inundated by seasonal rainfall.
