- Document Description
- The proposed project would include the following components: 1) demolition of the existing Veterans Memorial Recreation Building and Pool; 2) construction of a new San Bruno Recreation and Aquatics Center (SBRAC); 3) the reconfiguration of adjacent existing parking areas and roadways within the park; and 4) the relocation of the existing channelized creek within a portion of the park The new SBRAC would be constructed in generally the same location as the existing Veterans Memorial building; however, it would have a larger footprint. The SBRAC would be two stories in height and approximately 47;000 square feet in size. The existing parking lot adjacent to the existing Veterans Memorial building would be reconfigured by separating the parking from City Park Way, creating a designated parking lot and separate park drive. A portion of the channelized creek running through the park would be relocated in order to accommodate the parking lot reconfiguration.
