Title: City of San Bruno Recreation and Aquatic Center Project
Description: The proposed project would include the following components: 1) demolition of the existing Veterans Memorial building and Pool; 2) construction of a new San Bruno Recreation and Aquatics Center (SBRAC); 3) the reconfiguration of adjacent existing parking areas and roadways within the park; and 4) the relocation of the existing channelized creek within a portion of the park. The new SBRAC would be constructed in generally the same location as the existing Veterans Memorial building; however, it would have a larger footprint. The SBRAC would be two stories in height and approximately 47,000 square feet in size. The two existing parking lots within the park would be reconfigured, providing a total of 166 new parking spaces. A portion of the channelized creek running through the park would be relocated in order to accommodate the parking lot reconfiguration.
