Description: NOTE: Reference SCH# 2007121174 The proposed South Region High School No. 2 project entails the acquisition of 71 parcels; vacation of streets and alleys; construction and operation of an educational facility; and potential joint use of Bethune Park. The proposed high school campus would include 75 classrooms, administration rooms, a multi-purpose room/cafeteria, food services area, lunch shelter, library, playfields, gymnasium, and subterranean parking. The school would provide 2,025 two-semester seats for grades 9 through 12 and an assumed event adult school program of approximately 450 seats. The proposed high school site would also be available for community uses during non-school hours.
