- Caltrans proposes to address current recurring peak period congestion as well as more prolonged future congestion by adding capacity in each direction on mainline I-80 from 1.1 kilometers (0.70mi.) west of the Sacramento/Placer Co. line to approx. 1.56 kilometers (0.97mi.) east of SR 65 connector in Placer Co. This agreement pertains to Interstate 80 Freeway Improvement Project activities within the stream zone of Miners Ravine and unnamed tributaries to Secret Ravine. Specifically, the Interstate 80 Bridge over Miner Ravine will be widened. Additional bridge footings will be installed at Miners Ravine. Three culverts will be extended at three existing culverts at three tributaries to Secret Ravine.
