A proposed Zoning Amendment to change the zoning of two adjacent parcels from RR-20 (Rural Residential – minimum 20 acre parcel size) to RA-20 (Residential Agriculture – minimum 20 acre parcel size). The applicant's proposed activities are within the scope of the cannabis cultivation regulatory program approved through the amendment of Calaveras County Code 17.95 on October 22, 2019, and the program EIR and addendum approved on that date for this program adequately describes the applicant's proposed activities for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act. The negative declaration was prepared analyzing the non-cannabis related potential impacts of the proposed zoning amendment.
