Document Description
Phase 2B of the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension is a 12.3-mile extension of the existing Metro Gold Line Light Rail Transit line from its current terminus in the City of Azusa, in LA County, to the Montclair Transcenter, in San Bernardino County. The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority ("Authority") certified a FEIR and approved the project in 2013. The Authority proposes to modify the Project to allow for the potential construction and operation in four phases, instead of two phases, as previously approved. In addition, the Authority is proposing a new design refinement, the relocation to the Pomona parking facility (from north side to south side of station) and a new mitigation measure, the widening of White Avenue (1st Street to 6th Street) in La Verne. The proposed modifications are necessary to match with both existing and future funding.
