Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Pond #3 Maintenance and Improvements
Description: The city of Arvin Wastewater Treatment Plant consists of three ponds. The proposed maintenance and improvements are proposed for Pond #3. The maintenance and improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Pond #3 will include installation of HOPE Liner and re-compaction of existing soil, install liner trench anchors, excavate, and install pond piping and inlet structure as well as an outlet structure, and install sump with submersible sump pump station. Purpose and Beneficiaries of Project: The maintenance and improvements to the existing Pond #3 is to ensure continued efficient operations in the treatment of effluents for the City of Arvin residents. This action will support the goal of the City Council in ensuring operations of city facilities are maintained, efficient and cost effective.
