Title: University Hills Area 12 & LRDP Amendment #4
Description: The proposed University Hills Area 12 project would demolish 100 multi-family faculty/staff housing units that comprise the existing Las Lomas Apartments complex within University Hills at the UCI South Campus to construct up to 220 attached, for-sale faculty/staff housing units. Additional improvements include off-street multi-use paths and a bridge over East Peltason Drive to increase pedestrian and bicycle connectivity of the University Hills community to the UCI Academic Core, landscaping, and internal roadways to allow vehicular access to the project site via Los Trancos Drive. The UCI 2007 LRDP would be amended to increase the faculty/staff housing capacity from 1,700 units to 1,830 units in order to accommodate the additional units to be constructed as part of the proposed project.
