- Description
- The California Department of Transportation proposes to extend the service life of four existing bridges by repairing their corroded steel shell piers. The corroded steel shell piers will be encased with reinforced concrete from top of the pier to 4 feet below the mudline at three canal bridges in Fresno County and one canal bridge in Kern County. The four bridges to be rehabilitated are the Colony Main Canal Bridge (No. 42-0031), Helm Canal Bridge (No. 42-0033), Paso Canal Bridge (No. 42-0034) and Main Drain Canal Bridge (No. 50-0013).
