Coastal Planned Development Permit for Crown Pointe Estates at Malibu Case No. PL16-0004
Description
The Applicant requests approval of a Costal Planned Development Permit to construct a new 3-level single-family dwelling (SFD) (15,900 sf), and an attached two-level garage (1.798 sf) with mechanical lift that willprovide six parkign stalls. The SFD will be ocnstructed on caissons to minimize alteration of the existing topography and related grading. The SFD will be constructed on caissons that are located between 163.8 feet mean seal level (msl) to 1905 feet msl; the maximum height of the SFD being 35 feet as measured from the average finished grade. The SFD includes plans for a pool (1,000 sf) and spa (108 sf) located on the lower level balcony (2,570 sf), cantilevered above the finished grade. The required fuel management zone (1.48 acres) is located south of the required 100-foot buffer from environmentally sensitive habitat areas (ESHA). A retaining wall will be constructed north of the single-fmaily dwelling with a maximum height of seven feet. An infiltration surface drainage bio-swale (1,742 sf) will be constructed in the southwest portion of the lot. All utilties will be placed underground. Water service will be provided by the Yerba Buena Water Company. NOTE: See NOD for fill description
