Lakeview Pipeline Repair Project

Description

The proposed project would reline the existing Lakeview Pipeline (LVP) with a steel pipe liner. To gain access to the inside of the LVP and install the liner, access sites would be established at a max of 23 locations along the LVP alignment. Within the access sites, the pipeline would be excavated, sections of the existing pipeline removed, and the liner inserted and pushed through the pipeline in segments. Additional components include relocating the pipeline's underground air release vacuum valves to ground level and upgrading the pipeline's electrical connections. The project would also install an approximately 1,000 lf pipeline interconnection between the LVP and the Perris Bypass Pipeline at Metropolitan's Lake Perris Pressure Control Structure Facility.
