Sunset/Huntington Harbour Maintenance Dredging and Waterline Installation Project

Description

The City of Huntington Beach (City) and the County of Orange (County) are responsible for the proposed Maintenance Dredging and Waterline Installation project components. The County is responsible for maintenance dredging actions within the Sunset Aquatic Marina area and the Main Channel between the Pacific Coast Highway Bridge and Warner Avenue. As such, approval to allow dredging for navigational purposes (Maintenance Dredging) would be the responsibility of the County. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25-year General Lease - Public Agency Use to both the City and County from April 23, 2015, through April 22, 2040.
