Title: Richmond Wet Weather Storage Project
Description: In compliance with the 2008 settlement agreement between the City of Richmond, Veolia and San Francisco Baykeeper, the City of Richmond proposes to construct improvements to its sewer collection system to reduce wet weather overflows from two engineered overflow structures, known as Boat Ramp and Harbour & Wright. Proposed improvements include construction of a new diversion box, pump station, pipeline, and an above ground concrete tank with storage volume of approximately 150 feet in diameter and approximately 53 feet tall. Water Pollution Control Plant effluent will be used to supply water to the wash down system to clean the tank.
