Document Description
In compliance with the 2006 settlement agreement between the City of Richmond (City), Veolia, and San Francisco Baykeeper, the City proposes to construct improvements to its sewer collection system to reduce wet weather overflows from two engineered overflow structures, known as Boat Ramp and Harbour & Wright. Proposed improvements include construction of a new diversion box, pump station, pipeline, and an above ground, circular, pre-stressed concrete tank with storage volume of approximately 5 million gallons (MG). The tank will be approximately 150 feet in diameter and approximately 53 feet tall. WPCP effluent will be used to supply water to the wash down system used to clean the tank. The tank will be covered to contain odors.
