Storm Channel Maintenance Programmatic Permit

Description

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2011-0232-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the City of San Marcos. Project activities are limited to the following: dredging and excavating accumulated sediment from concrete and earthen channels and basins; clearing culverts and associated inlet and outlet structures; and, vegetation clearing and trimming. Specific maintenance activities for each facility are more thoroughly described in the Permittee's Notification. Project activities will permanently impact a maximum of 1.94 acres of stream through routine maintenance.
