SR 168 Clear Recovery Zone Project

Description

CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA #1600-2012-0098-R6) of the Fish and Game to the project Permittee, California Department of Transportation, District 9. The Permittee proposes conduct project activities at five locations along a half-mile stretch of SR 168 to obtain a minimum of 20-feet Clear Recovery Zone on each shoulder of the highway. Proposed project activities include the extension of four existing culverts, construction of new headwalls at both the inlet and outlet at all four locations; placement of structural backfill material, road shoulder paving, tree removal, and relocation of two existing irrigation channels.
