Title
Seismic Life Safety, Modernization, and Replacement of General Purpose Buildings, Phase 2 Project
Description
The proposed four-story, 76,500 gross square feet Integrative Genomics building (IGB) building is located on the main LBNL campus on the Bevaatron Parking Lot site (the Bevatron was demolished in 2011). The building is programmed to accommodate primarily the Joint Genome Institute (JGI) Program and Systems Biology Knowledge Base (KBase) Program which are currently in leased space off site. The building is expected to house approximately 330 scientist and visitors.
