Title: Delta Water Supply Project
Description: DWSP is a new supplemental water supply for the City of Stockton Metropolitan Area. The City seeks to secure a long-term supplemental surface water supply to use conjunctively with its local groundwater resources and other existing surface water sources. The project will consist of a surface water diversion facility with fish screens on the San Joaquin River, new pipelines to convey the raw water to a new water treatment facility located just north of the City of Stockton Metropolitan Area, and treated water transmission pipelines to deliver water to the City's existing water distribution system. Project sites will include lands located within the Delta both on and near the San Joaquin River (Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel).
