Title: Housing Opportunity Study Phase II Amendments to the San Jose 2020 General Plan
Description: The proposed project consists of a series of General Plan amendments to the Land Use/Transportation Diagram in support of the Housing Opportunity Study Phase II. The project proposes to change the land use designations on 9 sites within the Stevens Creek Boulevard/West San Carlos Street and Santa Clara Street/Alum Rock Avenue Transit-Oriented Development Corridors to support transit-oriented development. The proposed changes are intended to reinforce the San Jose 2020 General Plan Goals and Policies regarding efficient use of land and to promote higher density and mixed use development.
