Document Description
The proposed project consists of a series of General Plan Land Use/Transportation Diagram and text amendments in support of the Housing Opportunities Study. The project proposes to change the land use designations on 14 individual sites to support transit-oriented residential development. In addition, a General Plan Amendment is proposed to change the text of the San Jose 2020 General Plan Urban Design Height Policies. The proposed changes are intended to reinforce City policies regarding efficient use of land designated for residential use.
