Document Description
The applicant RHRP1, LLC is requesting approval of a Major Use Permit to allow the operation of an outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation operation (RHRP1) located at 8210 State Highway 175, Kelseyville, California, further described as APN 009-022-54. RHRP1 is located southeast of the city of Lakeport and northwest of the community of Lower Lake and will be established in an already cleared area of the approved Bryant Stocking Vineyard Block Development (county permit GR17-025). RHRP1 includes the development of one thirty-six (36) acre cultivation area with an outdoor canopy area of 1,089,000 square feet (25 acres). Article 27, subsection (at) in part regulates cannabis cultivation in Lake County. The total area of all parcels is 641-acres a study area large enough to support the proposed canopy area (20 acres per outdoor cultivation area). The project is not within an ‘exclusion overlay district’; and the applicant is pre-enrolled with the Regional Water Board. The applicant and proposed project must meet all applicable local and state requirements for cannabis cultivation.
