The Proposed Project involves replacing and improving approximately 5.2 miles of water mains, 3.7 miles of sewer line segments, and reconnection or replacement of laterals and appurtenances in accordance with City of Hayward (City) standards. The Project area consists of 44 individual locations throughout the City. Pipeline locations to be replaced/improved were based on recommendations within the City’s Sewer Collection System Master Plan and Water System Master Plan.
