The Project includes demolishing four permanent buildings, removing existing relocatable buildings and storage containers, constructing new permanent buildings that provide adequate learning spaces and support areas, upgrading and replacing aging infrastructure, constructing new outdoor physical education spaces, and providing new landscaping and hardscaping. The proposed Project also consists of limited modernization of existing structures including limited barrier removal upgrades, Internet Protocol (IP) Convergence, exterior painting, and limited interior improvements. LAUSD completed a PEA-E investigation for the proposed project to determine if the soil or soil vapor beneath the project area.has been impacted with chemicals of concern.
