Museum Associates proposes the LAC~A Building for the Permanent Collection within the eastern portion of the LACMA Campus, over a portion of Wilshire Boulevard, and within t he adjacent property on t he southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Spaulding Avenue. The Museum Building would comprise one building of approximately 347,500 gross square feet and would replace four buildings on the Project Site collectively comprising approximately 392,871 gross square feet. Overall, the Museum Building would result in a decrease in t he square footage of existing buildings by approximately 45,371 square feet and a reduction in the maximum theater size from 716 seats to 300 seats. A new parking facility providing approximately 260 parking spaces is proposed on a lot southwest of the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Ogden Drive.
