The proposed project entails amending Tobias Farms’ current use permit for their existing facility at 2250 Shore Road to incorporate the packing of produce within a 25,000 square foot storage building that was previously approved August 18, 2021, under County Planning file PLN21 0003. No new construction is currently proposed. The proposed project operates within specific time periods, with Tobias Farms’ normal business hours set from 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, and from 7 am to noon on Saturdays. During the packing season from approximately August to December, the workforce is expected to increase to 15-25 employees sourced through a Labor Contractor, who will be transported to the location in vans accommodating 4-6 individuals per van.
