- San Joaquin River Basin, Lower San Joaquin River, California Project-- Soil Investigation at Fourteen Mile Slough Pump Station
- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in coordination with the San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency (SJAFCA) and the Central Valley Flood Protection Board (Board) propose to collect environmental soil samples to investigate whether soils are contaminated and to what extent. A maximum of 60 drill holes will be conducted at the selected locations by using a hand auger and direct push drilling methods. The information collected will support a Phase II Site Assessment for the design of the Lower San Joaquin River Project.
