- Description
- The proposed project would develop an approximately 6,000 square foot wood energy facility that would combust woody biomass to heat water which would be conveyed through a thermal energy distribution pipeline to existing buildings and facilities within the Northstar California community. The facility is expected to consume 3,800 bone dry tons of woody biomass per year and generate approximately 50,000 million British thermal units of energy annually. The biomass/wood fuel would be received from the Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal Eastern Regional Landfill.
