- Napa County (County), in cooperation with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), proposes to replace the existing structurally deficient Chiles Pope Bridge at Chiles Pope Valley Road (bridge) in Napa County, California as part of the Highway Bridge Program (HBP). The bridge (Bridge No. 21C0075) is 2.1 miles north of State Route 128 (SR-128) and spans over Chiles Creek. The bridge is upstream of Lake Hennessey and Conn Dam, which prevents anadromous fish from swimming up Chiles Creek. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe, functional, and reliable crossing over Chiles Creek on Chiles Pope Valley Road.
