Description

The project proposes to develop a portion of a 14.3-acre property located across US Highway 101 from South Beach, at the location of the historic tank farm site, just south of Crescent City. Specifically, the area south of the existing residence would be developed. The project is proposed to be implemented in two phases: Phase 1 would involve the development of an 18-hole miniature golf course with axe-throwing and batting cages, as well as restroom facilities, a storage building, concessions, and a ticket/entrance area. Phase 2 would develop a hard-surfaced go-kart track. Off-street parking would be provided on the property frontage in the current location of the art gallery display and conex boxes. Ingress to the project would be via a single location on the south side of the proposed parking lot, with egress being located on the north side of the parking lot. Water would be provided by a new well and on-site sewage disposal would require development of a new Wisconsin mound system. Project materials including but not limited to a traffic impact study, soils analysis, biological assessment, noise impact study, wetland delineation, and storm water drainage study have been provided to assist with the assessment of potential impacts contained in this environmental document.
