- The project is limited to one encroachment. The project is to stabilize the bank of the West Fork Russian River after some bank erosion occurring during prior storms. The site has existing rubble and metal under the bank. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the failing bank and/ underlying materials, placement rock slope protection, backfilling and compaction of fill, and bioengineering to re vegetate riparian area and help rock slope protection remain in place.
