Document Description
The project is limited to one encroachment. The project is to stabilize the bank of the West Fork Russian River after some bank erosion occurring during prior storms. The site has existing rubble and metal under the bank. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the failing bank and/ underlying materials, placement rock slope protection, backfilling and compaction of fill, and bioengineering to revegetate riparian area and help rock slope protection remain in place.

Activities will be conducted in a manner to protect water quality and free flowing conditions in the Unnamed Tributary. No mature or scenic trees will be removed. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to §15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects
