Title: Port of Long Beach Port Master Plan Update Program Environmental Impact Report
Description: The PMP Update serves as a long-range plan to establish policies and guidelines for future development within the coastal zone boundary of the Port. The PMP Update is needed to incorporate previous PMP amendments and update the existing 1990 PMP to reflect changes in the global shipping industry, technological advances, and important factors such as climate change and energy resources consistent with Green Port Policy objectives. The PMP Update is also necessary to re-evaluate land uses to ensure permitting flexibility for future development in the Port.
