Electrical Upgrade to Maintenance and Seasonal Area

Description

Upgrade the electrical service to the maintenance shop and seasonal combo/cabin area of Richardson Grove State Park to provide safe and adequate amperage to the maintenance shop, cabins and camp host sites. Work will: Excavate approx. 1,500 linear feet o trenches up to 24" deep by 12" wide starting from an existing electrical service drop near the residences on the east side of Hwy 101, "T"-ing off as need for cabins, shops and trailers; Install 4" conduit from the residence area to the maintenance shop, and "T" over to the combo; Install 2" conduit to run 240 amp lines to the maintenance shop and from the seasonal combo building to all the cabins and trailer sites; Near the service drop, install a 240-480 amp step up transformer; Install a 480 - 240 amp step down transformer on the carpentry building; Install 480-240 amp step down transformer near the seasonal combo building subpanels; Install street rated pull boxes every 100 feet in locations that may have vehicle contract; and "T" off at every cabin junction and trailer site to connect a 2-breaker subpanel located at each cabin and trailer site.
