Document Description
Upgrade the electrical service to the maintenance shop and seasonal combo/cabin area of Richardson Grove State Park to provide safe and adequate amperage to the maintenance shop, cabins and camp host sites. Work will: Excavate approx. 1,500 linear feet of trenches up to 24" deep by 12" wide starting from an existing electrical service drop near the residences on the east side of Hwy 101, "T"-ing off as need for cabins, shops and trailers; Install 4" conduit from the residence area to the maintenance shop, and "T" over to the combo; Install 2" conduit to run 240 amp lines to the maintenance shop and from the seasonal combo building to all the cabins and trailer sites; Near the service drop, install a 240-480 amp step up transformer; Install a 480 - 240 amp step down transformer on the carpentry building; Install 480-240 amp step down transformer near the seasonal combo building subpanels; Install street rated pull boxes every 100 feet in locations that may have vehicle contract; and "T" off at every cabin junction and trailer site to connect a 2-breaker subpanel located at each cabin and trailer site.
