- Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0210-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicant, Truckee River Watershed Council. The project would restore hydrologic function, reduce erosion, and improve meadow habitat. The proposed project would restore four impacted areas, Sites 5,6,7, and 8, in Dry Creek watershed. Sites 5,6, and 7 are onlands managed by managed the United States Forest Serice - Tahoe National Forest. Site 8 is on private property. The total Project size is approximately 8.5 acres. The Project includes re-vegetation of disturbed areas with natibe and local plant species to stabilize the sites and ensure long term success.
