- Document Description
- The proposed project would restore four impacted areas, sites 5, 6, 7, and 8, as described in the Dry Creek Watershed Assessment (USDA 2013). The total project size is approx 8.5 acres. The goals of the project are to restore hydrologic function, reduce erosion, and improve meadow habitat. The project includes re-vegetation of disturbed areas with native and local plant species to stabilize the sites and ensure long term success. Specific actions include: headcut stabilization in an ephemeral drainage, removal of a redundant road segment in a meadow, relocation of a road that is an ephemeral drainage, and restoration of a degraded meadow through placement of fill in an existing incised channel and returning stream flows to existing historic channels.
