Title: UCR Barn Expansion
Description: The proposed project involves the demolition of the existing Barn Stable; the renovation and expansion of the Barn Dining buildings (i.e, the construction of the Barn. Theatre replacement and restrooms which includes the demotion of the existing Barn Theater building with the replacement construction at a location slightly to the north. With implementation of the proposed project, there would be a total of approx. 16,445 gross square feet (gsf) of development associated with the expanded Barn Complex, a net increase of approx. 8,350 gsf at the approx. 1.7 acre project site. The proposed project also includes the construction of an outdoor West Courtyard and stage, and the renovation of the existing East Courtyard. A loading dock/service yard, bicycle parking, landscape and hardscape features, exterior lighting, and utility infrastructure would be installed to support the planned renovation and expansion. No new vehicular parking or roadways would be added.
