Document Description
UCR proposes to expand the entertainment and dining facilities provided on campus through the demolition, renovation and expansion of existing Barn Group buildings, and construction of new buildings. With implementation of the proposed project and the Barn Replacement Option, there would be a total of up to 18,860 gsf of development associated with the expanded Barn Complex, a net increase of 10,765 gsf. The proposed project would also involve the construction of an outdoor West Courtyard and stage, and the existing East Courtyard would be renovated. A loading dock/service yard, bicycle parking, landscape and hardscape features, exterior lighting, and utility infrastructure would be installed to support the planned renovation and expansion. No new vehicular parking or roadways would be added.
