Wilson Way On/Off Ramps Widening

Description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to widen pavement at the EB OFF & WB ON ramps to accommodate STAA trucks. The scope of the project includes removing and replacing existing concrete sidewalk and placing ADA curb ramps, removing an existing signal pole, trenching, pavement restriping, and the possible relocation of drainage inlets. An encroachment permit may be required for sidewalk modification from the City of Stockton/San Joaquin County. The purpose of the project is to provide STAA access via SJ 4/Wilson Way interchnge and need of the project is to widen the intersections for roadway efficiency and safety.
