Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to widen pavement at the EB OFF & WB ON ramps to accommodate STAA trucks. The scope of the project includes removing and replacing existing concrete sidewalk and placing ADA curb ramps, removing an existing signal pole, trenching, pavement re-striping, and the possible relocation of drainage inlets. An encroachment permit may be required for sidewalk modification from the City of Stockton/San Joaquin County. The purpose of the project is to provide STAA access via SJ 4/Wilson Way interchange and need of the project is to widen the intersections for roadway efficiency and safety.
