- Description
- Caltrans proposes to enter into a long term routine maintenance agreement (RMA) with CDFW, under the Lake and streambed alteration program (1602). This RMA would cover routine maintenance activities occurring within streamzones and adjacent to state of right of way in Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba Counties. Routine maintenance activities include, but are not limited to: the removal of sand, silt, sediment, debris, woody and herbaceous vegetation and other obstructions to flow; the control of weeds, grasses, and emergent vegetation; making repairs and improvements to control erosion and stabilize banks; repairing and/or replacing gates, barricades, culverts and small structures; the repair and/or replacement of existing structures, cleaning and clearing of facilities; and creation of temporary access routes.
