State Route 210 Mixed Use Flow Lane Addition from Highland Avenue to San Bernardino Avenue Project

Description

CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0120-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority. The project will widen the existing segment of State Route 210 (SR-210) from Sterling Avenue to San bernardino Ave (6.1 miles between PM R26.3 and R32.4) from four mixed flow lanes to six mixed flow lanes (three lanes in each direction) with the addition of one mixed flow lane in each direction. The third lane will be added within the existing SR-210 median, resulting in six, 12-foot wide mainline lanes. The project will construct/install auxillary, acceleration, and deceleration lanes; several bridge expansions; scour, slope and pire protection features; stormwater treatment and pollution prevention features; retaining and sound walls; associated traffic management system elements (e.g., wireless vehicle detection stations, ramp metering systems, electronic message boards, and fiber optic backbone system to support these elements)
