Northern Sonoma County Water Conservation Program

Description

The purpose of the proposed project is to implement a water conservation program that would increase water conservation among rural residential and commercial customers through investing in water conservation strategies in drought-prone communitites to adapt to climate change and promote water efficient landscaping practices. The program focuses on drought-affected areas which historically have been precluded from such conservation programs and water efficiency measures by providing incentives directly to customers. The program focuses on residential and commercial water customers in the most drought vulnerable communitities and unicorporated areas of Sonoma County.
