Title: 13th Street Bridge Replacement at the Santa Ynez River Crossing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA
Description: Construct a new bridge and approach roads on 13th Street over the Santa Ynez River, demolish and remove the existing bridge and approach roads, and install a fiber optic communication cable 25 feet under the riverbed approximately 1,100 feet west of the existing bridge. Temporarily restore disturbed areas, reestablish aquatic and riparian habitat in areas impacted by the existing bridge, and establish a wetland mitigation area in the Santa Ynez River estuary if additional mitigation is necessary to compensate for permanent project impacts.
