- CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0245-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento County. Project is limited to the replacement of the existing bridge on Ione Road over Willow Creek. The existing bridge will be demolished and the existing piers will be removed by cutting each pier approx. 3 feet below ground level and backfilling their holes to original grade. The proposed replacement bridge will be a cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure approx. 97.5 feet long consisting of two 12 ft. lanes with six ft. paved shoulders and barrier rail on both sides for a total width of 40 feet. Approx. 0.0237 acre of rock slope protection (RSP) will be placed around other abutments for channel slope protection and to prevent scour. The project will also include the construction 200 ft. of a roadway approach on each side of the bridge for a total length of approx. 500 feet.
