Plainview Wastewater System - Feasibility Study

Description

The project would result in construction of a wastewater main along Road 196 (and lift stations) which will connect to an existing city wastewater trunk line; (approximately five miles north of Plainview) and construction of a sewer collection system through lateral collection lines in various county rights of ways abutting each home or business within Plainview. The wastewater main line would be constructed within the Road 196 right of way extending from Plainview to the city sewer trunk pipeline (at the intersection of SR 65 and Road 196). Depending on precise engineering designs, between one and five lift stations or other appurtenant structures may also be required. Pipelines would be installed via open-cut trenching; trenches would be closed upon completion of construction. Roadways would be repaved/resurfaced as needed and specified by the county of Tulare.
