Eastwood/Odello Water Right Change Petition

Description

The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) as the lead agency will be ittuing a waer supply permit. California American Water-Monterey proposed splitting an exisitng water right license into two separate licenses. The first license is for 85.6 acre-feet and will include a change in the purpose of use, place of use, and points of diversion to provide water for municipal use, including the consturction of a new well and associated infrastructure. The second license will dedicate 46.2 acre-feet per year to instream flow for the preservation and enhancement of fish and wildlife and riparian vegetation. The project will provide for operation of the well, and the well was completed on October 8, 2015.
