The Eastwood/Odello Water Right Change Petition has been submitted to split an existing water right license into two separate licenses. The license diverts water from the Carmel River near SR 1. The first license is for 85.6 acre feet and will include a change in the purpose of use, place of use, and points of diversion to provide water for municipal use, including the construction of a new well and associated infrastructure. The second license will dedicate 46.2 acre-feet per year to instream flow for the preservation and enhancement of fish and wildlife and riparian vegetation.
