Title
Inland Empire Brine Line Reach 5 Rehabilitation and Improvement Project
Description
The Inland Empire Brine Line (Brine Line) is an important infrastructure link moving non-reclaimable waste water and sewage from their sources to a treatment facility in Orange County. The existing brine line is structurally deficient and presents a significant risk for failure and a resulting Sanitary Sewer Overflow. To protect the brine line, a Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) liner will be installed using trenchless technology. The project includes the construction of approximately 35 temporary access pits (10 feet by 20 feet) to install the CIPP liner. All work will take place over the existing brine alignment. During construction, Traffic Control will be coordinated with the City of Corona, City of Lake Elsinore, and the County of Riverside.
